Restoration Power Center (RPC) is a multi-cultural parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). RPC was officially inaugurated on September 16, 2018, with the divine mandate of ‘taking over the land for Jesus’.

RPC’s divine mandate was received and executed with careful planning over time. In July 2017, Pastor Seun Jonathan moved to Calgary with his family and worked with the Provincial Pastor for 6 months to plan and prepare for the birth of Restoration Power Center. On the 31st December, 2017, RPC started with a cross-over service into 2018. 44 people were in attendance, alongside the Jonathans, the Olowokudejos and Mrs. Florence Eleko who were the foundation members of RPC. The first church service was held on Sunday, January 7th 2018, at Crestmont Community Hall, Calgary.

RPC continued fellowship on Sundays with a house fellowship on Fridays in a home in Evanston until April 2018, when the church moved to its present location at Victory Village; 10623 West Valley Road, SW, Calgary. On Thursday, 1st November, 2018, the first official midweek service of the church started with a film premiere and prayer service. Pastor Seun Jonathan pastored the parish from the inception until September 29, 2024, when he handed over to Pastor Lilian Akwue, the current parish pastor, with the solid support of her spouse, Benson Akwue.

The leadership of the church is made up of great men and women who love the Lord. The parish leaders serve God dedicatedly and selflessly in different capacities. The leadership is supported by a strong workforce and volunteers whose relentless commitment to the work of God and with the help of God, contribute to the successful administration of the various departments and programs in the parish.

We strategically position members to maximize their hidden potential to build the kingdom of God with excellence and passion, and to impact our community through the love of Christ. We are committed to raising the next generation of leaders in the kingdom and in RCCG worldwide.

To further impact our community and spread the good news to the unsaved, RPC in collaboration with POGEM produced a movie in 2021 titled “What’ Next. This is in alignment with the vision of the Redeemed Christian Church of God - ‘to make heaven and take as many people with us’. We are marching on as soldiers of the cross, and our goal is to take over the land for Jesus!
